My husband and I are both out from 7-7 each weekday and we didn't even think about only getting one.

Our two keep each other occupied when we can't and they adore each other too. So with 2 cats you might find they are a lot happier, and you'll have a lot more fun with both of them when you're around too!

Also if you do get one and then decide to get another as one is lonely when you're out, it's a bit more difficult to introduce a new one than if you just get 2 at the start.

I think a lot of people on this forum are in similar positions, and I've heard a lot of people here saying they were glad they got 2 as it's double the fun and also takes the pressure off you to keep one entertained all the time.

Yes bengals are very intelligent. It doesn't take much to train them. Most of the time its a good thing they are so smart (it makes them very fun and there is never a dull moment) but you will also need to bengal proof your house. They will figure out how to open cabinets, doors, and Ally learned how to open my freezer door. Max has tried numerous times to open the sliding glass door to get outside. Thankfully its too heavy for him. If they want to get somewhere they will do everything in their power to figure out how to get there. Between their intelligence and never ending energy its quite an adventure owning a bengal and even better owning two!
