Hey,

I am considering getting a fish tank with some fish to provide some extra entertainment - I noticed that a few people mentioned having fish tanks. I'm taking a guess here, but I bet some of your bengals have figured out a way in (and then you figured out a way to keep them out)...

So, how did you bengal proof yours?

:P

Our tank got some reinforcement across so we could put a plexiglas sheet (5mm thick) across with a small trap cut in in order to feed the fish ;) (when there will be some , it's not "finished" yet...). Also the lights (T5 ramp) are adding some weight so they can't open it.

Chaos for the moment isn't interested and still too "clumsy" but Onyx likes to jump on it (less now that it isn't so new ;)) and so far didn't manage to get through .

Well ours are Juwel Fish Tanks so they come with lids and so far we haven't had any problems with the Bengals and the Fish thought they do like to lay on the table next to the tank and watch them.

We had one of these for the discus but for sea water we needed more light so it wasn't appropriate ;).

I went and bought a tank with a lid after I got the bengal. It didn't work. I gave the fish away.

Well both of our Tanks are Juwel (vision 180 and Rekord 70) and both cats have gotten on the top but never had any mishaps.

I didn't find any of the brands you guys mentioned. I think what I'm going to do is put the fish tank in the kitchen (which, somehow miraculously has a locking door - why, I don't know) and let the newly arrived, still nameless, kitten watch from the terrace (don't worry - the terrace is sealed shut with sliding glass doors, no flying kittens out of my apt) which has a nice window to look in on the fish.

I had a fish tanks. It was in my room, and Olly found it real fast. I'm guessing he had fish for lunch when I was at work. Becuase I had 4 when I left and I only had 1 when I came home that day...... Then the fish that was left died the next day. :(

Hi.
We have a big aquarium, our bengal !loves! to watch the fishes.
It is complitely closed from top ,otherwise the cats(expecially the bengal) would swim in there for sure :)

The best place to sleep in is the warm top of the aquarium.

Lovely fish tank, by the way Zohar! Very therapeutic. :D
I'd love a fish tank but we've no space left, what with ceiling cat trees etc
