So we've had Fifi for 3 weeks now and i wondered how often you all feed your little bundles of fluff,shes 2 years old (photo attached does she look lean to you or ok?) she constantly goes to her feeding bowl !We feed her twice a day around 9ish in the morning and 7 at night she was on Royal canine indoor 27 however we have fed her a tiny bit of fresh salmon over xmas!
Have just left water out and have put feeding bowl away once finished giving fist sized portions at meal times

Any advice please

I've found that unlike all my other cats who've got by with 2 meals a day, I've had to introduce a third meal for my Bengals at about 11ish at night, especially when they are young (1-2 years) as they just seem to be really hungry at that time. I also thought it might stop the 5.30am thundering around the bedroom like a herd of elephants, but unforunately, no....

I've had Fury for about a year now.

Her breeder was feeding her Wiskas and Iams for kittens. But she refused to eat this when I got her, so I tried her on the Felix pouches and she loved them - won't eat anything else now.

Two pouches a day (about 8 am and between 6-8pm at night) and Wiskas biscuits are left down all day for her to graze with a fresh bowl of water. She's not a big eater in the slightest, she nibbles little and often so I leave her food down all day for her to go back to which she's happy with.

My lot also have 3 wet meals a day most of the time with dry food left down all the time. They get a meal at breakfast and tea time and then if the bowls are empty, I put another tin down when I go to bed. It varies a bit with my lot because they go outdoors and sometimes they dine out!

Ours get fed twice a day - but never eat everything that is put down for them. They have dry food, and Freyta occasionally has wet (Loki will not touch wet food at all).

We recently used the Royal Canin Indoor 27 and noticed that Loki appeared to be losing weight (he's 18 months old). After vet checks to rule anything nasty out, it seems that the RC Indoor 27 did not have enough calories for him. If you have a very active young cat, you may want to consider using something else as well or instead to boost the calories!

I dont have my bengal yet and dont no much but i will try to help any ways so here goes,,,,
When i went to vist my breeder she talked alot about feeding and stuff.
what she did was, she left dry foog for them to 'graze' on through out the day and gave them wet food four times a day, but these were kittens so you probably only have to feed them twice a day or something like that, im sure some one on here may be able to correct me

I now feed twice a day. I measure out their food and give a fair amount LESS than the recommended feeding guide. Mine are adults now though (I wouldn't say to do this if they were kittens) and it's been made obvious that the feeding guides are just too much food for them because they can't eat it all... plus they have a bit of a belly as it is with the lesser amounts!
