We left our Moshi (13 weeks) for a day when we had to go out and he was fine we left him lots of toys, food and water. However I wouldn't leave him on a regular basis. If you are going to be at work every day I'd consider getting him a playmate or he will get lonely.

I have to lock up mine if no one is home. He gets into everything and anything. If I left him alone to run the house I wouldn't have a house any more. LOL!

Haha, if you want a house to come back to, then keep him in one room!

My two have free run of the downstairs only when we're not here, and they go in the kitchen at night time. They can't be trusted upstairs!

I guess it depends on what sort of cat you have - if he's energetic and likes to hang from the curtains, then definitely restrict his access during the day.

If however, you have a more peaceful, sleepy cat (is that even possible with a Bengal??) then you can let him have free run of the house if that will make him the happiest.

As Moshi says, a playmate is always a good idea, if it's something that will work for you. x
