Instead of lurking around I thought I'd do the right thing and let you know I'm here. (or rather have been here for a week!)

I realised not long ago that it's not cats I dislike but litter boxes! What a relief!!! My husband was so pleased (he's had cats all of his life). Of course, when we decided to adopt a pair (no less than a pair) we assumed it would be from a shelter. Give a derserving and long suffering moggie a new start.

Somehow, I stumbled upon Bengals. We're (I'm!!) obsessed. How could you possibly have another cat?? We're already planning the ultimate kitteh gym I'll let my husband worry about that while I read every website and book I can get my hands/mouse on!
I believe I've found every breeder site in the UK and I've ordered Jean Mill's book and Dan Rice's book from Amazon already.

The most important thing I've learned (from here as well), is to do your research and accept no substitutes for a responsibly, properly bred cat.

I don't have any burning questions to ask at the moment, but I may chime in in other threads. I hope that's OK.

Hello, and welcome!

So have you got over your litter tray aversion or do you have a cunning plan to deal with the poop?!

Have you picked out any kittens yet or are you still "shopping around"? Part of the fun I had before we got our two boys was avidly (obsessively??) checking my favourite breeders' websites for new photos....still do a bit of it now, even though we have had our boys for a while - it's a difficult habit to break

This forum is great, you will no doubt have many questions before-and after- your kittens come home and you'll find plenty of friendly advice here.
