My boys are now a year old and so are "trusted" to be left to their own devices while we're out at work.....

However, I am working from home today and I don't know if they're just trying to get my attention or if they really do get up to all sorts of nonsense when we're not here to supervise.....I've just caught Bert red-pawed stealing a crumpet from the breadbin!

Anyone else got bread-loving Bengals??

hehehehe

I can just imagine those little paws foraging around in the bread bin!

My little monkies will play with bread if it's left around, but Ernie goes crazy for parmesan cheese. We had friends over for dinner one night & I grated a big bowl of the stuff & left it on the table while we chatted & Ernie had nearly the whole lot.

Readybrek is the same. Odd. Odd animals.

Ahhh the bread - yes...especially if it's a fresh loaf left on the worktop by mistake.

Yes have found one of those on the floor with some bite marks in. :)
I foolishly once left a bag of chicken legs defrosting on the side, (you'd think I know better with 5 cats in the house  ). I caught Oska red handed in a different room with them trying to get in the bag, teeth marks all over it.

Luckily there they were actually for him, just would have been easier for him if they weren't frozen :)

LOL That is so funny...we have to watch leaving things on the counter as well. Our Leo goes for the bread too. One time we came back from next door, having forgotten we left a zip-lock bag of corn tortillas on the counter... Leo had gotten to them, and had half-chewed tortillas strew across the living room rug. It was a mess to clean up! He also loves cheese, although it makes him sick, he still tries to eat it. If he sees us eating it, he just starts going nuts! He'll pace the counter, howling at us at first, then he tries giving the "puppy-dog eyes" and that mournful soft "moooowwwwwww" as if he's SO SAD you won't share. LOL He's a trip!

My cat Tilly has stolen bread twice now - she has got up onto the worktop - into the bread bag and I have found half eaten slices on the floor - naughty girl!!

One time we had been to the supermarket and left the bags of food in the hallway whilst putting it away, one of the Bengals stole some bread rolls, dragged them into the other room, ripped open the packet and began munching on them
