Our bengal, Stella, is about 5 1/2 months old. Almost 25 weeks old, to be exact. Whenever I need to use the loo...Stella follows me in there and paces around the toilet. When I flush the toilet, she always watches the water go down. It's so cute.

Ha ha Trisha I so recognise that pose. Mine nearly fell down the hole today, after our usual race to the toilet he jumped up onto the seat before me then had to put the brakes on really hard as he was teetering over the edge.
Have you tried giving Stella an ice cube in a glass to play with, our boy stalks around the glass, then puts his paw in and chases it around untill he finally fishes it out. His hand gets really cold and needs several good shakes but that does not stop him, he always kills the ice cube in the end.
Stella is a beauty, i will send pics of curtain hammocks, toilet races and ice cube murder soon.

My oldest Bengal was 10 last month. I have another who will be 10 years old in November.
I guess the oldest girl Sherrie is partly responsible for why I now have far too many because I decided 8 years ago I wanted to breed them. They take over your life (in a nice way).

They do calm down as they get older but still have their moments.
I have too many is how many. The population keeps changing as kittens come and go.
I do pet a lot of my retired breeding cats off as it is better for them to have their own personal slave to themselves. Sherrie was bought as a pet and the other girl who will be 10 later in the year is a rescue.
I have one other neutered girl that I bred. They live in a big pen outside as Sherrie hated sharing me when the others came along.
My first queen lives with my daughter along with 2 other boys she was determined to have as kittens.

Our Bengal will be 9 yrs old in October and she still does have her moments of madness which is very entertaining.

They do tend to slow down as they get older and sleep more and not want to play so much anymore but they are still adorable. I read so many posts on here about what different bengals get up to and realise how active they are and kind of miss more play time with ours as she gets bored very quickly. We never had her from a kitten so we have no idea what she was like as we only got in April this year. One thing I have no noticed is that her routine is never the same from day to day apart from feeding time of course

I to also had to laugh at the refrigerator and toilet stories.
They all are really entertaining

I got my 3 Bengal kittens last week and one of them, Lily has already shown a taste for climbing into the fridge. So far, I've noticed each time so we haven't had a distaster and obviously I now check carefully before closing the door.

They also seem to think going to the toilet is a social event - whether it's themselves in the litter tray, in which case they all join in; or whether it's me, in which case they try to climb on my knee or squeeze through a gap to see what's going on (I won't go into any more detail!!).

Sorry - I realise this was meant to be a thread about age! Obviously I don't know yet about my Bengals. My two previous cats (moggies) lived to 21 and 19 so I'm hoping the Bengals will be similarly long-lived.
