Are you referring to Rabies on the vaccine? I actually haven't done the rabies yet.

I did two rounds of the distemper/rhino vaccine only (my breeder did not vaccinate, she only does it if asked by the new owner), and I waited until she was much older before doing anything. I went round and round about what I wanted to do for vaccines. I might go back to working in the vet industry part time, or volunteer at a local shelter, so she could get exposed more then usual. So I decided at least two rounds were in order.

I decided to spay her first before rabies since she is already 8 months old, and in about a month or two I will get her rabies. My vet is supportive to whatever I want to do. I need to do some more research on the rabies, but she will order whatever I ask for.

I will probably do titers in a year rather then booster......see where she comes out.

She is soooo teeny, I have moved slow on procedures. At 8 months old, she weighs in at 6.4 lbs (and thats a solid muscular 6.4 lbs).

My Bengal started buphronex a week ago and was fine, until I increased her dose yesterday. Now she is going whack. Paranoid, screaming, every time she settles down she acts like she hears something and starts up again. Did any of you find more info on this medication and bengals? I may need back up with the vet. help she is terminal and I don't want her to die paranoid and scared. I want her calm and serene.

Talk with your vet about going back to the previous dosage. This is a hugely powerful drug. I don't know about mixing a sedative in the situation. Really, only your vet can help you out there. I'm so sorry you're going through this. {{{HUGS}}}
