Hi, my best friend has just picked up a silver marble male bengal but is really stuck for a name!

He is a fab little chap, very cheeky and adorable but we are both hopeless with names! Can anyone give us any suggestions at all please?

I will try and get some pics tomorrow as he is such a cutie!

Thanks, Katy

Well, I don't have a name for you, but when we picked up our two boys we searched egyptian names that we liked. We came up with Minkah for the spotted one which means justice and Turi for our marbled.

My suggestion is to look through something like that for a cool name. with some meaning.

If you want to stay with our egyptian theme how about Nebi which means panther or RA (sun god).

Hope that helps!

When we were recently looking for Nova's pedigree and pet name we went though our CD collection, hence Champagne Supernova (Nova for short). We had a shortlist but all girls I'm afraid but your friend may get some ideas through doing something similar?

When we got our bengal i wanted to call it Tackleberry after the guy from police academy. My girlfriend didn't like it, but i think that any name with an 80's tv reference would be pretty cool.

Other suggestions

Ferris
Magnum
Higgins
Blue
Baloo
Brody

Apparently any name that ends in an "ee" sound is good for cats, not sure where i heard that. It could be a myth.
