So, back in September I got Odin. My workload has increased a bit so I am out of the house quite a bit more than I was and I had a feeling he was getting a bit bored (battle wounds on my hands as proof to him thinking I was a 6 foot tall cat).

So, on Friday I am getting a female from the same litter he is from, just curious if there are any special tips on reintroducing them to each other. They are both only a little over 4 months old, so still kittens more or less.

Any tips would be appreciated.

hi

there will probably be the normal hissing and spitting for a little while
but it is easier to intergrate a kitten than an oder cat.

she might be quite and hide for a while, but being an inquisitive bengal i doubt that will be for long!

as you know where she is coming from etc and if you are happy etc i would not bother in segregating them.
let them get on with it with some supervision at first but i bet they will be fine!

Well so far it has made for an entertaining evening filled with a huge lack of sleep.

Odin was fine after about 20 mins, he is ready to play and have some fun but the female isn't having anything to do with it at the moment. She tends to go to a spot and lay down and then lunge/hiss from that spot if Odin gets anywhere near her. He just seems to walk up to her and roll over onto his back or lay down on his side flingin his tail around. From the sounds of it, all of that seems normal, correct?

I did end up seperating them last night just so I could get a few hours of sleep, other than that I have been watching them just kind of do their thing.
