Hello all. We think we got a bengal. About 6 weeks ago we were looking for a new kitten/cat. Our cat of 13 years passed away. So I started looking online at rescues and stuff. Went out looking over a couple of weekends and nothing really caught are eye. While looking online we noticed the Bengals. I decided to start saving for one. Anyway there was on more place that was doing adoptions so we went and looked. People were walking out with kittens left and right. So we were called next and I fell in love with this Bengal looking cat. The lady said he was real lover and good kitten. So I wrote a check for $100 and off we went with our new family member. He has all the markings of a marble bengal. Even his actions are bengal like. Got along with our Bullmastiff and other cat within hours. He loves the water and plays all the time. My 7 year old son can pick him and play with him for hours and the cat doesn't mind one bit. Sinba loves to be with us all the time. I really think I got a Bengal for a great price. We are talking about getting another one down the road sometime.

Welcome to the forum. He certainly looks bengal.......bit like my Lenny (see pics in the gallery). What age is Simba? What about his papers etc? Feels a bit unlikely that he is 100% bengal if you do not have these and certainly the price seems really low..........

He is appox. 6 1/2 months old. We got him from a kitten/cat rescue. No papers. But everything about him seems to be bengal. He is still a cool cat. His markings are like word for word bengal. According to most bengal sites. Either way he is still awesome.

At worst he's a mix.... and I just say that because of the price. That's not a bad thing at all if he's a family pet, but you'd be pretty upset if you wanted to breed him!
