hi, im new here. yesterday i was wandering around the internet and stumbled upon a site about bengal cats, after reading a bit and looking at a whole bunch of pictures, i began to think it sounded alot like one of my own cats.

His name is Kouda and he is about 10 months old. He is a very active kitten, and probably has the friendliest personality of all the cats ive known. alot of people comment that he is more like a dog than a cat. he loves to chase things, less so in a cat stalking way and more in a fetch kinda way.he will often carry his toys around the house in his mouth, evern if they are half his size. and he loves to play in water and often tips over his watch bowl, and everyday is in the bathroom when i take a shower. he also makes a very strange chittery nise when hes excited by a bird out side of a fly.

he is a decent size, not too large, but i dont think hes fully grown yet. he has slightly larger ears than my other cat, and they are always alert. his tail is also very very long and alot straight up in the air.

here are a few pictures

so what do people think? feel free to tell me im way off :)

Behavoir certainly sounds Bengal like....

The middle picture looks like he has some spots too - hard to tell from the other pics.

Could be that one of his parents or ancestors was a Bengal.

Do you not know of his heritage?

I agree - middle picture looks Bengal-ish but the bottom picture looks almostToyger-ish! Definitely the right sort of personality though :-)

Hi

He is a mackeral tabby, note the vertical stripes.
Bengals are Spotted or Classic tabbies (Marble)

Vertical stripes are frowned upon in the Bengal breed but as teresa pointed out they are good in the Toyger.

He may have some Bengal in him, but all the same he is a very handsome chap.

Regards

Elsa

Hi,
He looks really lovely and a real rascal!! It sounds as though he has a lot of Bengal personality traits although he is probably a Bengal cross hence the more mackeral type pattern.
There seem to be so many Bengal crosses flooding the market at the moment (here in the UK) which is a real shame.
Best wishes,
Annieco
