I think its only 30 days in quarantine for the rest of europe compared to the 6 months here in the uk, and thats just a straight import! (without pet passport)

However remember if you want to bring the kitten back into the uk for some reason....you'd have to revert back to the "6 month rule".

Using the DEFRA scheme I'm guessing it should be 21 days after the final rabies jab and titre have been done, after that apply for the pet passport and buy a plane ticket from one of the approved carriers.

The ticket price should include all transportation to and from the planes, vet checks etc etc. Also your cat/kitten may get 48hrs stay in the holding centre for recovery after long flights.....Uproar was left to settle himself for 24Hrs before we picked him up.

Make sure you check up the german side of things too.....they might have some extra requirements before they allow entry, it'll be nothing much.....if anything it'll be wormed on the day of travel or something similar!

We imported from Canada to the uk so we had to use a strict approved route via Heathrow.....but exporting to another EU country should be easy enough to do.
