Hi,
Although I have viewed this message board on and off for the past year or so I have only just this minute joined!
I have two Bengals, Ziggi and Misti, who are nearly six now. Ziggi, I am still showing but Misti decided it wasn't for her after two very successful years on the show bench.
A couple of weeks ago I designed and published my first web site which is all about them and I thought you might like to take a look. I am not a breeder so I'm not selling anything! It's just a celebration of the breed through my experience of being a Bengal owner. It has some relaxing music on it so have your volume on when you view it.

The cats have two canine companions and we all go out for long walks in the fields here in the rolling countryside of Devon. At the moment Ziggi is fast asleep on the dining room table, (not very hygenic I know... but I'm gradually getting used to the hairballs I keep coughing up), and Misti is curled up in a hedge!
Hope you like the web site.

Hi and welcome!

Like the webpage! Particularly like the outdoor pictures, Bengals look stunning against natural scenery.... Are they allowed to roam free outside?

Hi Gavin,
Glad you liked the web site! Yes they are allowed to do pretty much what they want, although Ziggi is confined during the hours of darkness in his own room. Luckily the nearest road, which is a quiet country road, is 500 yds away and on the other three sides of the house there are just fields and woods for about ½ a mile each way. Ideal cat country! The odd thing is though, that even though I have lived here for nearly seven years I have only ever seen one cat anywhere within this half-mile radius (and I haven’t seen that for the past three years). Nothing to do with Misti and Ziggi though as it was like that when I moved here. Very strange. So I never have to worry about them getting into fights with other cats or anything and I feel very confident that they are in a safe environment.
As I said on my web site, they are both trained to the whistle and come back when they hear it, although Ziggi’s a bit obstinate about it when it is dark, hence his confinement at night!
If I lived in a town though I would definitely only let them out with cat proof fencing, or I would be in a constant state of anxiety about danger from traffic or theft.

Sounds ideal for Bengals - they must come back with some interesting "presents" for you
