I have to agree on DaBird, laser pointer and BOXES... Sometimes I get boxes from work (they're free" and bring them home, cut "holes" in sides, and a "door" in the closed ones... and my cats all love to play "peek-a-boo" with one another from both INSIDE and outside the boxes.
I have a different problem with DaBird. I have to HIDE mine, or they totally destroy it. And, it seems they NEVER tire of it.
Zenith is a LITTLE INTENSE... and sometimes it's VERY difficult to get it back, when HE gets his little jaws clamped on it, properly.
I'm glad to see we all enjoy the INTERACTIVE toys.
Zenith's FAVORITE toy is a little stuffed black bear. My son and I have never had a cat (in our many years of being OWNED by cats) who attached themselves SO completely to a stuffed animal. Every evening, we both have our time, playing "I've got your Bear" with him. (grin)
He doesn't seem to MIND me having bear, as long as I keep it where he can see it, but if I hold it where he can't see it, after he's seen me holding it in plain view, he has to come INSPECT me, to find where I've stowed it.
He DOES NOT like for my son to have Bear. He will follow him around the house "STALKING" with eyes as big as saucers, waiting for the moment my son puts "Bear" down, so he can SNATCH it and RUN to hide it in my bedroom.
Several of my cats, both Bengals and moggys will play fetch with a paper ball, or the fabirc covered pony-tail bands. Those are fun to "sling-shot" across the room for a merry game of fetch, when more than ONE cat is playing.
