Hi

I’ve been trying to work out a pedigree of our new kitten back to an ALC on the bengal database but I’m a little confused having never done this before.
I seem to have to go back to about 16 generations to find one, does this mean he would be an F17 ?

Thanks in advance

I have a large database of F generations of the bengal cats. Currently 117,962 records which would equate to about 80,000 cats since some have two records. If you give me the pedigree name of your kitty and parent information, I will check my database and if I need any other information, I have other databases I can check for you. I doubt your Luna is an F17 since the highest my database goes is F14. If the father of your kitty is an F12 and the mother is an F9, your baby would be an F10 as you take the shortest link back to the ALC. I'm in my fourth year of compiling the database and add bengals daily. I'll be happy to help you find the F generation for your kitty as well as the ALC. Note, all pedigrees have multiple ALCs in them..
