I noticed when my kitten Killua is sniffing around, he does it verrrry loud. Like SNIFF SNIFF SNIFF SNIFF. It's cute, but why's he sniffin' so hard? He breathes normally, just when he's sniffing around, it sounds like he wants to suck everything up into his nose. Is that a normal bengal thing? My previous cats never sniffed that hard.. maybe it's something I need to get checked? Unless it IS something they do, then I'll just keep on admiring his intense sniffing.

I honestly haven't ever thought about this -- and I'm not sure I've heard a noise from my bengal when he sniffs. I promise I will pay closer attention the next time. I guess they could make a sound, just like humans.

My bengal Gaga did that when she was young too. No clue why, it's one of many behaviors that I'd never seen in a cat before getting bengals.

Quasar smells everything. Even things he's smelled 100s of times before, like my hair, his sleeping cushion, hubs' shoes (yuck).

When he was a kitten, his sniffing did sometimes make noise, like he was getting the biggest, deepest breath of everything, every time.

Killua smells everything all the time too, even if he's smelled it before. It's just a loud sniffing he does. If you were to sniff, it's that loud. Maybe a bengal thing. LMK if any of you notice them sniffing intensely haha
