Honestly .... taking this long is a little ridiculous. Any indication of WHEN they will have the results? I'd try to speak with someone higher up in the clinic. Even sending out the sample and having it tested should only take a week at best. They can email or fax the results in to the clinic.

So happy to hear the test for TF was negative, but I think you already knew that. The fact that her diahrrea has vastly improved shows that. A retest will not be necessary and forget the ER vet until you actually need an ER vet. Hopefully, when you see your regular vet on Feb. 12, Trixie will have gained a few more ounces and her stools will have remained normal, so you can stop seeing the vet for a while.

And, then you can really enjoy Trixie and you both will be much, much happier.
