I am looking for a cat tree of adequate size for our 17lbs bengal.
I would like the platforms big enough, but those I see in stores all seem too small. Any one has a good one to recommend? We are in Canada. Thanks!

I would recommend you check with Amazon in Canada. They have a wide selection and if you click on the item and scroll down, it will give you the dimensions of the platforms and condos. The units appear in metric and not what I'm used to seeing. I will say Armakat makes an excellent product. Molly and Friends trees are expensive, but so well made.

I would recommend a tree where the platforms have ridges to keep the cats from just tumbling off. If it has a condo, make sure it is large enough, although most cats don't need them. Also, you need to decide where in your home to plan to place the tree. Some trees have so many platforms and hammocks, etc. but will take up an entire wall. So a tape measure will be your friend.

Yea, I don't think it's really practical for anyone to sell good cat furniture in a retail store (because good stuff tends to be LARGE). All they have in every retail store I've seen is really teeny, cheap, useless stuff. There are a lot of places online that sell decent cat trees.

Hey, I know this post if a few months old however have you tried Zooplus online? I think they are based in Germany and not sure if the ship to Canada however they have cats tree for big cats.

I have ordered a few large cat trees and some wall shelfs along with beds, litters trays and toys from them and I've no complaints.
