Hey guys,

I have two bengals, both males, desexed and about 16 months old.

Very healthy, very playful, last night, I noticed one of them when he was sleeping on the bed, had drool dangling off his chin, then when I looked on the blanket, a fair bit of drool was on there.

This morning, I saw a puddle of what is presumably drool on the floor.

He has been eating well and behaving as normal. The only thing that’s changed is we have changed to a dry food only diet about 5 days ago, and they have been drinking considerably more water.

Is there anything to be worried about?

Thanks guys any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any time you notice something different in your kitty, you take it to the vet to be checked out. It could be something as simple as tartar build up on the teeth, although most young bengals don't have that yet. You can always Google and see what pops up. But, if this were my cat, I would take it to the vet for a checkup. My cat drools at times, too, but it's because he has no teeth to speak of.
