I'm planning to show my kitten, but I don't know the steps to do it. Heard that we have to submit the form to TICA, but how do we do it?
would love some suggestion or mentors to help...!

There are standards the judges must go by to award points to a cat. The standards are somewhere online. TICA has information on showing cats: http://www.tica.org/showing-cats including how to enter. You won't know how well your cat will do until you actually do show the kitty. The kitty must like being handled by strangers and able to interact with toys and be content to be caged for hours. Where your cat places will depend on how many cats are entered. A smaller cat show, your baby will do better. If there are 160 cats ... maybe not so much. But, any points you get will continue to add up as you continue to show your kitty. A cat can receive Championship status in one show if they place high enough. It's 6,000 points to a Supreme Grand Champion.

I don't know the particular standards. Just know that showing a cat is hard work with making sure your kitty is in tip top shape, traveling, expenses, etc. And whether or not your cat is going to enjoy going to the shows. Some cats want no part of it.

Here's the information from TICA:

HOW TO ENTER A SHOW:
Obtain a show flyer and entry form from the show by writing to the shows entry clerk.

ENTRY INFORMATION:

Check the flyer for: Closing Date and entry fees. HHP adults must be altered to be registered and/or shown. Unregistered cats may be shown only once in TICA without a registration number. All points and/or wins for titles and/or Annual Awards acquired by an unregistered cat, kitten, alter, or household pet adult in the second and/or subsequent shows shall be irrevocably lost. The exhibitor is obligated to furnish the registration number to the entry clerk or master clerk and the Executive Office. In order to obtain credit for any points and/or wins received at the first show where the cat was shown as unregistered, the owner must notify the Executive Office in writing requesting the first show be credited and stating the name, date and location of the show, and the name, breed (if applicable), registration number, and the entry number.
