What is the best and most escape proof kind of cat harness to use for a Bengal?

There is no inescapable harness but the closest I have come to are the Mynwood walking jackets.

Quasar could always escape from the little H-harness so we switched to walking jackets early on.

Mynwood cat jackets are custom made for your cat according to his measurements. The only time Quasar escaped from a jacket was one time when were in a hotel lobby waiting for the housekeepers to finish cleaning our room. He got started by the commotion he created and backed right out of it.
Since then, I just am sure that it is as tight as I can make it - rather like cinching up a horse saddle. He has not been able to escape since, although I am always careful.

As Kyenta said, no harness is escape proof. A lot is going to depend on how much your baby wants to fight the harness, thus, you never take a cat outside on a leash until they are completely comfortable wearing the harness inside the house. An H harness is good if it's tight enough on the cat. Raiden can only escape if I don't have it on tight enough. Walking jackets are sized to the cat. Whatever you do, do not use a figure 8 harness. There is one clasp at the neck and it's just not a good harness for a cat.

I ended up getting a walking jacket because mine figured out how to back out and wiggle (lots) to get out of the come with me kitty harness no matter how tight it was. She likes the jacket and knows she has to put it on before we walk out the door. It took her a few days to get used to the sound of the Velcro when I took it off her but....she has never been able to escape the jacket.. I will be getting a new Bengal the beginning of August and will try both with him (indoors) and see what happens. The jacket I have is a Kitty Holster which is like the Mynwood.

Harnesses are sized so they fit the cat. I measured Raiden's neck and chest to find out the size that he needed (medium). There is no one size fits all. The adjustable harnesses can only adjust so far. So for a kitten, you need a small, then go into a medium. Walking jackets require measurements as well. As the kitten grows, a larger walking jacket is needed. For some cats, it can take a while for them to get used to having something wrapped around them like a cape. They are not used to fabric. Which is why the other strap harness seem less cumbersome for some cats. Regardless, one has to have patience in dealing with a cat and a harness. It's very rare that you put one on and the cat is fine. They will either lay down as if they are paralyzed, try to fight the harness, or they just walk around like they aren't wearing it. Not everyone gets the last one the way I did! So, you have to spend days, maybe weeks, in trying to get the kitty use to the harness. Try treats and toys as distractions. When the cat realizes it can walk wearing it, they are usually fine. If they are fighting it and biting it to get it off, try to distract the cat. If it doesn't work, remove the harness and try again later. If this goes on for a weeks, the kitty is not going to tolerate the harness, so just put it away for a few weeks and then try again.

I think all bengals are different. Some like the harness and some the jacket. I started Aja at 4-5 months in the harness. I got the smallest harness they make off of amazon (small I believe). Will have to check the size tonight. I did go by the size using her measurements. She didn't mind the harness, she just figured out how to escape by going backwards no matter what I did. One thing I noticed about the jacket is she is calmer in it. Last night I had her in the backyard with the jacket on and a kitten came to the other side of the privacy fence. She went crazy but.....the jacket stayed on. One reason she may be calmer in the jacket is because she doesn't have to stick her head through anything to get it on. I really like the harness though so I will try it on my F1 when he gets here and let you know how it works out.
