Good day everyone. I am brand new to this site and to Bengal ownership.
My husband and I adopted a Bengal (Max) about a month ago. He is 6 years old and just awesome. He came around to the new environment very well and quickly (to include tolerating my 3 lb chorkie). :). That in itself was a blessing.
I have a few documents from his last vet trip, his U.K. Passport, and the GCCF transfer application slip. I have been trying to find out his history. I read on one post where a lady provided a website to Bengal Pedigrees, but I could not locate the names of the cats on that site. :(
What I have is my cats name, his parents names and their registration numbers. How can I use this to find his history and what generation he is (is generation even the right word?)?
My cat: Max (aka Rockytop Beyondthunderdome) GCCF registration number CS 768051.
His dad: Absolutely Distant Thunder (IMP). GCCF Registration CS 750977
His mum: Korshki Moziac. GCCF Registration CSSR 635282

I cannot find anything with this information. Not sure what the difference is between CC vs CSSR.

I hope someone here could assist. It will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello and welcome to our forum and congratulations on your new baby. It's great that you are wanting to know the F generation of your Max. I've spent a year (so far) compiling a database of such information, so I can easily provide that information to you.

Absolutely Distant Thunder is an F9
Korshki Mozaic is an F9

Your Max is an F10.

There are a couple of websites that provide pedigrees further back down the lineage.

http://www.bengalpedigrees.com
http://www.bengal-data.com

Their search features are specific. You can put the name of the cat in the center (or second) search box (name of cat) and search more easily. Korshki Mozaic is not in the bengalpedigree database but is in Bengal-Data.

By the way, here is a picture of the ALC that is the shortest link back. Baghara-Segura Khan of Kent.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Makes me sad, I wish we could find ours that easy. Guess we will wait for the papers to come.

Okay, okay ... here's another picture of Baghera-Segura. He doesn't look quite as angry! LOL.
