Hey guys, new to this forum! I am extremely curious as to the breeder of my new baby kitten told me he is part abysnissian part bengal. I am a beginner cat owner and can't tell to much as there is no paper work for my kitty. I got a link to pictures of my kitty. Could you all help me identify my little guy?
May I add he is only 8 weeks old. Thank you

I have had an Aby/Tabby mix and now I have a Bengal/Tabby mix, and based on the photos you provided I can't see any of the characteristics there. Your kitten is adorable tho.

It did take me over a year to figure out that Thomas is most likely a Bengal mix, and it was based on his size, bone structure, behavior, tummy spots, loves water, etc.

If the people who provided the kitten have any information about the parents that would help, but without documentation it's difficult.

If there is Bengal in him there are a lot of recessive genes as he does not look Bengal. Adorable though. Enjoy him.

Thanks for the quick response guys! I don't see any abynissian in him. But he is very active, vocal, smart (he learned fetch at 8 weeks), no signs of loving water yet but sometimes will drink with his paws. Loves to build mounds of sand in his litter box lol. Mischief for the most part :P but anyway I think he might just be a small profound amount of bengal as he has some interesting characteristics.

I don't see any Bengal in your baby. Bengals usually have rosettes and your beautiful baby does not appear to have them. The white fur also gives it away. The only bengal with white on their bodies are whited Bengals and then it's only on the underside. I am not that familiar with Abyssinians to know much about them. The only way to know for sure if there is any bengal there is to do a DNA test on the kitty. Regardless, I think all kitties are gorgeous. Congratulations.

My mix does not have rosettes on his back or sides either, they are very faint on his stomach. You must also consider bone structure, body structure, behavioral traits, not just markings on the coat.
