Ah yes, I remember those painful days - for me it was times two

Mine grew out of it and I learned how to 'field' a Bengal! I became pretty good at catching them when they threw themselves at me! My mum was taken by surprise one day though and we nearly ended up at A&E as she got a pretty nasty gash on her hand. I cringe every time I see the scar.

I'm sure she will grow out of it but in the meantime I would cover up with quite thick trousers on your legs etc. It is painful when they are hanging from your thighs etc.

The simple answer is that you need to train them- at the moment as kittens they are light and their razor sharp claws only hurt a bit, when they are over 5 Kgs then the pain will increase, so teach them what they may and may not do. Early consistent training is the key.

As for jumping on and biting - when Ada was only a handful of months old I was wearing draw-string jogging bottoms - she lept at me, sinking all 4 claws into the front of my thighs and lunging forward with her head to bite, amongst other things that were hanging around, the cord to for the trousers.

If all else fails, you could always buy your husband a cricket box to keep the family jewels safe. ;-)

Well, bengals LOVE to climb. Do you have a tall cat tree or two for her? I've never had my bengal climb on me. He has had cat trees from the beginning and loves to climb those.
