Thought it might be fun to get some catnip for the Bengals - got a bag of it delivered with the cat litter, they loved a bit of it sprinkled on their cat trees.

I left the bag of it, sealed, in their toy box, on top of a 9ft high cabinet......

You can guess what happened next

Went out yesterday, came home to find the catnip bag taken out of the box, on the floor, completely shredded with catnip everywhere and two rather guilty looking Bengals

Now then Gavin, you should have known better, 9ft is "NOTHING" to a Bengal...try the safe next time!

So we've learnt recently...... by experience!

We also naively left the hatch to the loft off the other day - which is a good 9ft jump from the bannister and at an angle! Didn't think there was any possible way a Bengal could jump that far..... how wrong I was  Had to rescue a meowing Bengal from the loft with a ladder

She now meow's up at the loft hatch, because she "knows it's there"
