Pet subscription boxes?

Does anyone else get pet subscription boxes monthly for their pets?

I get Loot Pets for my dog every month and she loves it and I looked into getting another one for my two kittens and my dog. I came across a one in the uk called Tailwagger and got my first box today for all 3 of them and it had tons of stuff in it from Kong toys, wand toys to fish flavoured treats and even a cat coat conditioner spray. It was actually a lot better than I expected for £20 easily £50-£60 worth of stuff. They asked a lot of questions over what types of foods my pets preferred and what they wouldn't play with. I tend to find they also get really excited when something comes through monthly for them and they get to help open the box lol.

Does anyone else get a monthly subscription toy and treat box for their pets? I know a lot of people think they can be a waste of money. Any recomendations for really good ones?

I'll post up some photos later of the 3 of them helping open the box lol.

I never heard of this. It sounds like a fun idea. I always order a packet of cat springs when I order their dry food.

They may not have them here in the US! I know places will send you monthly cat food that you've selected, but a box with surprise stuff -- I've never heard of it. Would be a waste of money for me as Raiden isn't interested in anything but the empty box! LOL

Viperkeeper does one for Pouncey, but I can't remember which one. The infamous catnip banana came from one of the deliveries. Pouncey was or is a spokescat for that particular mail order box.

This is what I got in my first Tailwagger box for Arya and Griffith plus my Chihuahua Mai. Not too bad for a random box for £21.99 plus I do think the little bandanas are very cute and can use them on the kitties when they're older lol.

I might see if there are any specialist kitty ones I could try out now that I know my two both love toys and treats.

What a fun "surprise" box to open up! Like having Christmas once a month.

I doubt Raiden would enjoy any toy that they would send out. He has a zillion toys and doesn't play with any of them. I have to swish the end of a wand toy around and he chases it like crazy! I have to hold Da Bird in my hand while I swish! But, if I had a kitty who would enjoy something like that, I would not hesitate to get the boxes for him.

Wish we had some with good diverse brands ;)

We do have one type that charges roughly the same as the one you got
But it contains 5-6 toys/treats, so not sure if it's worth it in the long run. We certainly don't have as fun stuff :/

My two cats are similar to Raiden and some of the other cats on this thread. They really don't play with toys very much. They will chase a laser pointer if I bring one out. They liked the small toy mice made of cotton and stuffed with catnip, but after they batted them under the refrigerator they forgot about the toy mice.

Now they just like sitting on the windowsill and watching the activity below them, catching a nap in the sunlight, sleeping on the bed, climbing to high places like the top of the refrigerator or the high window in the bathroom, and eating, of course. :rolleyes:

They also don't eat new kinds of cat food, especially healthier cat foods. Nor do they eat "cat treats" like you get in pouches or packages.

I don't think my cats would touch or play with anything in a monthly gift package for them.
