Can I get opinions please if he is a Seal lynx or a Mink - he is 14.5 weeks and his eyes are SO pale I cannot tell the color. I know eyes can continue

changing for the first year but is there any chance they will go a deeper color?

I had written a much more detailed post (rambling actually) but I tried to attach a file and lost it. I forgot to say since the flash reflects red and in low light even his look red then it would seem he has blue eyes even though they do not actually LOOk blue - can this be right?

Adorable! He looks a lot like Diesel did when he was younger. I'm rubbish at the whole Seal Lynx vs Mink but I'm sure someone will be along who can help with that.

In photos, there is very little difference between the snows.I don't know if this description might help, but that little kitty is super cute and adorable. I got this information from this website: http://www.kingsmarkfarms.com/bengals/kingpattern.htm

Seal Lynx Point -- which have a very light cream ground color, dark chocolate markings and, usually, slightly darker legs, tails and ears. These cats MUST have blue eyes.

Seal Sepia -- which have a cream/tan background and very dark bitter chocolate markings. These cats have green eyes.

Seal Mink -- which are actually a genetic blend of the above two colors--a cream background with slightly warmer brown markings and, often, blue-green or aqua eyes.

Thanks for the replies, yes I have been reading all the decscriptions of the different snows and it's just the eyes that are confusing me. In life, he is much whiter than the photo shows as in some photos depending on the angle he looks a creamy beige color he is very white and his rosettes are still pale, his brother has darker more pronounced rosettes and did since birth, his brohters eyes are a very pure blue while my little guy has almost grey looking eyes. Although they do reflect red/orange. The breeder does not breed for snow so these were a huge surprise to her!

Blondie is a mixed breed, but she has very light eyes.

Obviously, there are snows in the pedigree of your kitty! I think you need to wait and see. The eyes could change.

Interesting, I just saw a similar question asked on the Bengals The Beautiful Cat Facebook page. Either it's a common question or you are the same person in Ontario, Canada!

I took one look and thought lynx straight away! I have a snow mink but there was a little lynx running around when I went to buy Spider and I think I could always spot one now. So beautiful. Really light background and markings, and very pointed colouring. Much lighter than the other snows in background and rosettes (or marble) Your kitten is gorgeous btw, I am already thinking that in the future I want a little lynx for myself (although Im talking 10-15 years as 2 is enough for now!)....I will always remember the little lynx because he was the first kitten to approach me and I thought he was mine for a second!

I should say that I know Spider is a mink, but I have questioned myself over whether he is a Sepia or not! Did it again after reading your message! Checked his documents knowing what they would say  I understand needing to know!
