There's some damage done to the box. A beaver is about right! Where is Babbage when I need to cut through a cardboard box?

Someone gave me this garden bird so I put it outside where Grace sits and she just stares at it as the wings and head wiggle in the breeze.

Thankfully, the stray I'm feeding doesn't gnaw through cardboard as one big box houses his heated bed for the winter time. Jill, that's awesome!!! Cats are fascinated by anything that moves.

Jasper and Oscar both loved their Christmas presents.

The squeaky mouse did end up in the bin as every time any of us walked past it without even touching it the flaming thing would start squeaking non-stop. It was driving us all insane lol.

I detest cat toys that make noise or even flash lights! Especially in the middle of the night. Raiden has gotten on his cat wheel at 1 a.m. Ugh!

Try a babble ball! Also irritating, every time it's knocked it will, squeak, mew, chirp or babble and jagger was playing with it at midnight last night, thumping it around the front room...

Blondie jumps on her almost every night. I am fast asleep and hear a sound like a plane taking off. I struggle to figure out what is making the sound from dreamland. I finally wake up and realize it's just Blondie letting off some steam.

All our cat toys make a racket and it drives dh insane which is fun

They have a tunnel which makes a rustling noise and a batting type toy with a ball that twirls round which they absolutely love and bash it all around the living room.

What is it with cats and nail files though! Our dear old Muskey would come charging over every time I got them out and would always manage to run off with one of them.

I was filing ds's nails last night and Oscar managed to grab it out of my hands and ran off with it in his mouth!

Debbie,
It's so funny you say that. All my cats have been obsessed with nail files. I have to hide them or they run off with them and lick the sand right off of them! I think they see them as a tongue cleaner!

I use those pink emery boards and Raiden loves them! I find them on the floor constantly.

Pity they don't file their 'nails' with them lol.

Another one is pens and pencils.

I got the girls one of those electronic butterflies they absolutely love it! Two cat nip toys a strawberry and carrot and two rod games.
I had a very big laugh when my husband went to the pet store and bought them a very posh leather collar filled with Swarovski stones! Together it coated about 60fr. I laughed and told him you buy the cats more Swarovski then for me  But the collars are for their first birthday in march.

Sounds like your kitties had a great Christmas, Genevieve! And the Christmas tree held up.
