Jill, are you leaving them alone? I've left a kitty alone for a weekend before, but never a bengal!

Yes they will be alone for about 30 hours. This will be a first.

No way could I leave Raiden alone that long. He would absolutely die of boredom. I'd have to lock his enclosure so he couldn't get out there and find trouble. Gads, I'd need another two litter boxes for him. I just know I could not enjoy myself worrying about him. At least at the vet, the techs come in and play with him. Hope you have a great time.

They will sleep, eat and beat each other up when the food is gone. Nah, I think they will be fine. They are such girls and I am spending loads of time with them before and after.

They'll be fine.

I used to leave my two Burmese alone now and again when we visited family some distance away and there's were never any problems. I left more litter trays out and a ridiculous amount of dry food. One suggestion I have though unless you've already thought of it is to leave a dish filled with water in the sink or somewhere like that so they can't nock it over just in case their usual dish gets spilt.

Great idea about the water, Debbie. Cats can't live without water. I have multiple water dispensers that I used. Not easily knocked over if put in a corner. I hate being away from Raiden for any length of time (even to go to the grocery store). LOL

Making something homemade sounds great! I'll have to think up something for Raiden.

Hazel got a new Neko fly attachment and a couple of toys she'll probably ignore. It's also her first birthday so we spoiled her a bit.

Happy Birthday to Hazel! That's my problem. I spend time really looking at the cat toys and selecting something that I think Raiden will enjoy. And he doesn't. He has baskets full of toys that he can pull out on his own and doesn't. There are numerous toys under the duvet of our bed that he ignores as well. He seems to prefer the Cat Dancer, which is one of the cheapest toys out there.

My kitties did great on their own for 29 hours! I am so proud of them! They are following me around and are clearly happy to have life back to normal. Now it's a Merry Christmas!

Jill, glad everything went well while you were gone. I'm sure you're relieved to know your place is still in one piece and both cats didn't kill the other! Hope you had a very Merry Christmas.

Magic didn't have anything for Christmas as I gave it to him early, he had CatFurnature box which he loves, plus on Christmas day he is more interested in the wrapping paper
