What have you got or getting your cats for Christmas?

Hi there. My son wanted to go to pet store today to spend some of his hard saved money on his kittens.

He looked online before we left to look at the reviews and jotted them all down, then ran off, got his calculator and added it all up lol.

It came to £50 :eek:

Dh was not happy about him spending that much money but he was adamant it was HIS money and he was going to spend it on HIS kittens.

Managed to get him to spend £37 instead!

He's bought them a tunnel and an interactive type toy that has balls going round and round inside.

He's also got them some toy mice, kikaroo, a wand type toy and some kitten treats (some good quality ones).

Plus I bought them one of those Da Birds.

What have you got so far for yours or what are you planning?

We've treated the kittens to a new cat tree seeing as their old one was a bit shredded. A bargain at £28 on Amazon.

Raiden has not been a good little boy so Santa is not bringing him anything. Well, I did just get him a toy from Amazon, but he's ignored it so far! That's the problem. He wants to play with the wand end of a toy and that's it! I guess he could use a new wrestling buddy, but he still prefers the old ragged one. I love looking at all the cat toys, but know Raiden wouldn't appreciate anything I got him.

Nothing planned so far, perhaps I should get the little pair of monkeys a banana each :biggrin:

That said, they did get a cst wheel last month and they really aren't short of toys.

Zazu LOVES his tunnel toy. It was a christmas present but I couldn't fit it in his stocking so I already gave it to him. He loves to hide and hunt all his toys so this was perfect for him. His other present will be playing with all the wrapping paper and bows on christmas haha! That's so sweet that your son wanted to spend his own money for his kitty

I don't have a lot of floor space to have some larger toys for Raiden. I've thought about getting him a tunnel since he tries to burrow under the blankets. I already trip over some of this stuff. Maybe Santa will bring him something after all.

We bought them the Cat Furnature boxes that they've already nabbed! Not sure if they will actually last until Christmas, they keep sitting on them and they are bending badly. Plus they are so boisterous when they are playing in them, the boxes keep falling open so will probably have to sticky tape them.

I'm doing them stockings as well (sad I know!) which will consist of new attachments for the flying frenzy, springs for Jagger, bouncy balls for Hendrix etc.

Any excuse to buy them more pressies!!

A catnip banana will be his best toy and of course lots of new scratch pads!

Oh yes that's what it was called Flying Frenzy. Didn't buy any attachments so not sure how long that will last but should be fun on Christmas Day.

Also I always do my son a Christmas Eve hamper. I put in it a book, sweets, family movie for us all to watch (and eat the sweets with!), pj's, a computer game and a cuddly toy. For the cuddly toy this year I bought him a cat that looks exactly like his kittens (see link below).

Will be interesting to see his AND the kittens reaction to it :mrgreen:

I visited a friend the other day and she has the exact same cat tree as Sailormoo. She has five indoor kitties! The tree is gigantic, but she has the room for it.

How on earth has Suri been good enough to warrant gifts from Santa??? LOL. Hope things are better between her and Sierra.

Suri, is such a cutie little sweetheart and absolutely beautiful how could you possibly resist spoiling her! I know I couldn't.

I am so excited for Christmas Eve. My son can't wait bless him to put their stockings up and fill them with their little treats.

He's also bought two 'main' toys for them each.

I am so looking forward to Christmas Day!

I guess Blondie and Grace have everything they could possibly want or need so my present to them is to stay home with them and give them all the love and attention they can stand for 9 days! We can't wait!!

Jill, it's wonderful you're getting to spend such a long "vacation" with Blondie and Grace. I know they will love having you around -- and then when you have to return to work -- they are not going to like it! :biggrin:
