Does anyones bengal act strangely in windy weather? Oscar paces, meows and is generally a little monster. It's really windy at the moment and he was stalking me this evening and coming in for bites (never hard) dilated pupils and kind of wired and mad look! Had to fend him off with my work diary

Well that could explain my two being a handful tonight! I'd put it down to the fact they had to stay in again tonight as yet more fireworks were going off! Fortunately they stalk each other and not me, but Hendrix started to bite the base of Jagger's tail which understandably got a pretty feisty response and they fell out a bit!

Hendrix was looking a bit wild eyed when the wind was making a racket down the chimney so maybe it's a bit of going stir crazy and the wind freaking them out!

I am convinced it's the wind! My friend is a teacher and she says her kids are a nightmare when it's windy too! Poor Jagger with his tail......brothers!

Must just be something in the UK. The wind doesn't t affect Raiden at all.

There is a saying in the UK that 'he's got the wind up his tail'! Jagger is really funny charging around after leaves on the lawn when it's windy, he really gets the wind up his tail!

They were horrors last night but eventually settled down thank goodness!

Definitely acting weird today! Jagger is already back home and settled for a nap on top of the wardrobe. He's been in and out all morning, whereas normally he has his breakfast and it's a miracle if he reappears before I leave for work!

Hendrix is subdued, not his normal chatty self and had only just gone out before I left. Very strange.

Hendrix did get a telling off from jagger though when he sniffed his bottom this morning - a real warning that if Hendrix bites his tail again, there is no more Mr nice guy! Hendrix doesn't like being told off, so he's probably sulking!

Weather is still horrible though so maybe that does have something to do with it!

Just as weather can affect us humans -- I'm guessing it can affect animals as well. Hope your weather improves.

We are expecting high winds and severe storms tonight. Won't bother Raiden at all! I just have to cover his cat tree in his enclosure so it won't get wet. The enclosure is covered, but open on three sides and the wind will make sure everything gets wet.

Most likely the noise outside is really bothering him.

Raiden's walk this morning was in very windy conditions and he just sniffed away in the breeze and was not bothered in the least.

Raiden sounds like a cool customer to me! Oscar has been racing around in the leaves a lot today. Amazing fun and especially as my husband had swept them into neat piles. Would not want to be in Oscar's shoes when my husband sees the mess!

Raiden was chasing after leaves as they were falling from the trees. Now our trees are bare and we've kept up with the raking of the leaves on the ground. Raiden is a pretty calm cookie! Hubby can be mowing the yard and Raiden walks right by him. But, seeing other people on our walks, especially if they have dogs -- Raiden hightails it in the opposite direction.
