Spitspot wanted to see my old Grumpy boy Muskey. Honestly, you wouldn't believe how long it took me to get this photo of him he was not amused at all!

He always has a 'fed up' look about him ha ha and is quite the 'sulker' if we upset him. When we got him 15 long years ago from the breeder he was the last one of the litter and reduced. They probably took one look at his grumpy face but I couldn't leave him behind

We all love him so much he is quite a character

I think his look is far more 'aristocratic indifference' than grumpy!!!!!! He is totally gorgeous and I can just imagine the looks he gives when the mere mortals dare to do something he does not like! I love the burmese/siamese/oriental breeds. There is something about them that is just so lovely. Gorgeous, gorgeous boy x

Awe what a sweet pussy willow. The facial expression doesn't always reflect what's going on inside. Grace has a wild look to her face that makes people think she wouldn't be friendly, but she loves to be patted and really is quite sweet and affectionate. I guess the same goes for people. The face can be a mask and not always about what's going on inside.

He is extremely affectionate but just doesn't like to be handled at all!

Every morning he rubs his cheeks on each of us and we get the paw in the face too but I think that's more to do with him wanting his breakfast. He's got us well trained as he's always the first one to be fed.

Then he rubs all the furniture in the house including my laptop . My son plays a game with him as he will rub his face on something and Muskey will immediately run over and rub his face on the same thing. This will go on and on.

He then charges upstairs to check every room out (you'd think he was looking for burglers), checks out every window and yowls non-stop if he spots the tiniest of birds  . Goes completely bonkers if he spots a cat!

I nearly thought we'd lost him a month ago as he picked up a respiratory infection. He was in a terrible state and I had to prepare my 12 year old just in case. I honestly wasn't expecting to come back with him he was that bad.

He was given some antibiotics and has made a full recovery thank goodness but he really gave us a fright and I think he's starting to show his age now bless him.

Boy, Mr. Grumpy is right! Beautiful kitty cat, Debbie! I think he just didn't want his picture taken. I love reading how kitties interact with their families! I am pleased he completely recovered from the upper respiratory infection. I've had cats come down with it, and it's not fun for anybody.

Aww he's a sweet boy. It's so funny that he's got to put his scent on all of you every day.

No he definitely didn't want his picture taken

He's sitting on his cushion right next to me like he always does in the pic. If I move, so does he. He follows me everywhere.

He does prefer my lap though but I often have the laptop on that although that doesn't stop him as he'll try and sit under my chin

He reminds me of my little old lady Madelyn. She was always next to me or on me.

OMG how beautiful is she!

You never forget them do you?

I can't imagine life without Muskey, he's been here for 15 years, older than my son! When he passes I will take comfort knowing how much we all loved him. I am sure it is the same for you (((hugs)).

I'd love to see pics of any of our beloved who have passed. It's a lovely way to remember them. I'm not sure I have a photo of Titus, my adored Red Burmese.

He was one of the most amazing cats I ever had. They say cats are selfish but Titus loved and adores us. I miss him every day

Ha ha Brian, I'm used to it. He often gets in a sulk and will sit there with his back to me all day long! Never known a cat like it but wouldn't have him any other way.

Jill, your Siamese kitty was stunningly gorgeous! Debbie, I am sure you could grab a pix of Muskey when he is smiling, right??? He has to be in a great mood some time! Ironically, my cats who passed away were prior to the digital age and are on actual photographs that I'd have to scan into the computer and post! And I'd have to find them first in the photo albums. LOL Now that we all have phones with cameras, it's easy to snap shots or videos constantly.

That photo was near the end of her life. Here are some of my favorite photos of her as a a young adult, so pretty. She was such a good girl too, never did anything wrong.

Wow, what beautiful blue eyes! She was gorgeous! You must miss her, Jill.

Looks like Muskey easily keeps you all in your place, Debbie, with such a stern look! He clearly wasn't in the mood for a photo call lol
