Lately Blondie has been pushing the empty food plate around the living room floor to let me know it's time for a feeding. The plate makes a loud noise on the tile floor and I guess is a more effective notification system as Blondie does not meow much. Grace will find me and meow for food, but not Blondie. If I fall asleep on the sofa in the evening, Blondie will make a racket with the empty plate pushing and flipping it to remind me they want their bedtime snack. They are such little communicators!

That's too cute.

Diesel will bury his food if he doesn't want it. When he was on crate rest I couldn't leave wet food in there because the second he was "done" he would either dump the bowl over or put one of his towels in it.
We have a moggie who always thinks she's starving and if she thinks you may be carrying a plate or bowl of cat food she runs to you and starts screaming her head off. It gets all the other cats interested too because they think it's the "special food alert" now.

That's so funny Brian. I didn't realize Neytiri has blue points. She is so beautiful, is she young in that video? I love her little tantrum she is throwing! My sister has an all white oriental shorthair with purple/blue eyes that she got from a breeder over 10 years ago: Rajah. He is so affectionate that he will jump into your arms from the floor.

Oh Brian, how precious!!!!!!! Raiden eats in a Neater Feeder which holds the bowls. He can't push them around. He just puts his paw in the water and splashes it all over the food and the floor. Raiden has a "I'm hungry and my bowl is empty" cry -- most definitely! His appetite seems to wane a little in the winter time -- or cooler weather. Eats more dry food than wet.

Maxwell actually lifts the bowls OUT of the Neater Feeder and pushes them all around the tile.
The Neater Feeder is attached to the mats underneath with heavy-duty velcro (so I can pull them up and wash them), the top part is taped to the bottom section with packing tape (front and back), and the hubs said he was going to work on something to make it harder for Max to pull the dishes out... But, he hasn't. So I have to pull them. When they're empty or I'm going to hear them at 3am. Dang cat. He's determined, I'll give him that!

These kitties are so funny and also SO clever! They just know exactly which buttons to push  I just love Netyri - she is totally gorgeous. If I could choose any cat in the world, it would be an Oriental, siamese, burmese type. Just LOVE the face, the big ears and the attitude! GIVE ME BREAKFAST NOW OR ELSE! Love it! You can really see the size difference when Gaga ambushes her. Is she very young in that video? When I had my hair done for my wedding the lady had three burmese. I had one round my shoulders and two on my chest - all dribbling! Heaven! Actually I probably got married with dried cat dribble on my chest

Raiden isn't smart enough to lift the bowl out of the Neater Feeder. He is a messy eater and I have to clean the thing every day as he has food all over it. He also paws his water, so the bottom has water in it! I that is super funny that Maxwell can get the bowl OUT. Some cats are determined. I think mine just gives up eventually.
