So we decided to do a "meet" with this cute pup we found through a Shelter...and decided to keep him! He doesn't chase Kai at all but does try to play from time to time, which we monitor closely because he's pretty heavy for his size (all muscle) and we don't want him to hurt Kai. We think he is an American Staffordshire Terrier mixed with a Lab.

We've had him just over 5 months now and everyone is getting along really well. Kai and Mason don't play yet, though. I actually thought Kai would be supreme leader in this relationship but he is rather soft when it comes to Mason. He isn't scared of him, but if Mason plays too rough Kai doesn't swat and hiss like most cats would. He just lets him do it and leaves when enough is enough.

Does anyone have any videos of their bengal playing with a dog? I'm just curious. I really would love to see these two play together. They have slept very close to each other...but it is hot hot hot this summer and cuddling isn't Kai's favourite thing this time of year.

But hey, if they don't play but live together well I have nothing to complain about!! :)

At least Kai and Mason tolerate each other. I'm sure they will interact more as time goes on. Both are beautiful animals. Congratulations on Mason.

Our cats used to play with our older Dane, now that there are 2 Danes the cats try to stay out of the way because it's like a stampede of elephants when they start playing.
