Here is a pic of one of the 4 wheel covers that Sean just sent me. Great idea, and a big relief! They snap over the bolts so the wheel is not exposed. I feel it's much safer this way and I'm so grateful to him for addressing this issue.

I don't know how to attach the pic :-(. It says it's too big.

Your picture has to be somewhere on the internet -- photo bucket or image shack. You can post a link to the picture. There is an "insert image" icon next to the search icon above a reply. Or, you can take a video and post on YouTube with a link.

They are modifying the wheel to include roller blade guards. He's in the process of making a prototype to be tested. He sent me guards that snap over the bolts of the roller wheels, but I feel they are not wide enough and the roller wheels are still exposed. He is going to make the guards wider. He is very concerned about the issue and is taking care of it. I'm very pleased with this company. I will keep this updated when the new guards arrive.

I always thought Sean was more about a quality product than money. Maybe he will teach his customer service department the same thing. Glad you're happy with what he sent you -- that was very fast!!! Now he will spend time actually creating the product that will be available for future purchasers -- and I'm sure he'll offer it to everyone as an add-on at some point. Once you're happy, I hope you will edit any of the reviews you have on the web to reflect that he addressed the problem.

Here is a picture of the wheel guard Sean sent me They snap onto the wheel bolt.....disregard the blue spiral thingy, it's just a cat toy on the carpeting. Sean is modifying the wheel guard to be 1.5" wider, so the roller blades will be nearly inaccessible for a cat's tail or paw. Sean's been great in listening to the safety issues and will include the guards for all future wheel purchases. I believe he will be sending them to existing customers as well.

If i had an issue with the safety of my pet at stake I would have done exactly the same, even if you are the only person to have an issue you still would put the safety of your pet first. Well done for being persistent and being the careful owner all our fur babies deserve xx
