No expert but It does not look like the charcoals that I have seen photos off. If It wasn't mentioned on here I would go with tabby

That is what I thought too! It so much annoys me when people try to sell moggy cats as Bengals! I agree this kitten is still cute regardless, and I appreciate your input :)

I see it ALL THE TIME on facebook. I do just comment and say I thought bengals were supposed to be xyz type of thing. so others can see my comment and think twice about being conned.

What a beautiful little kitty! Doesn't look like a charcoal to me as their faces are much darker. I'm weary of Facebook ads, period! A quality breeder will have a website (which they have to pay for). I'd avoid Craiglist for the same reason. Anyone can post pictures but you may not get the same cat. In fact, people have mentioned pictures that they've seen before on other websites. If you want a bengal kitten, contact a TICA registered breeder and pay the money so you know that you are getting a purebred bengal. This particular kitten needs a home, too, but to publicize it as a bengal, when it truly is not, is wrong.

I totally agree with you Sherry, scammers do not deserve people's money and I am all for responsible breeding. I am looking to rescue a Bengal and I checked out his ad out of curiosity. Is there any legal repercussions for a known scammer? I saw the same guy post an ad for a white moggy posing it as some kind of purebred. It should be illegal to say you are selling something you do not have.

I think all you can do is post in the comments that you think this person is not apparently truthful in their ads. I doubt Facebook would be any help, but I do know with Craiglist, you can flag the ad. I really feel badly for these kittens. They are innocent victims in the scam.
