I know this has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything on here but today I heard ....

Our County Council (after getting solicitors and a Barrister involved!) have backed down and will name our choice of independent school for our son who has complex special needs!

Two years of stress and sleepless nights is over.

I am so incredibly relieved that not only will he be going to an amazing school that will help him meet his full potential (our son is very clever despite his incredible disadvantages) but he will more importantly by HAPPY :mrgreen:

Yes it is.

To actually get a decision that appears to be in the best interests of the child.

Saying that, we have had to fight like the devil and spend thousands of pounds in private reports, solicitors and a barrister to simply get him into a school that can meet his needs.
