We recently purchased our new kitten Nahla. The individual we purchased her from advertised her as a Bengal but as you can see she has white paws and a white bib which from what I have read on here is a disqualifier for the breed. The breeder was clear that she did not have papers but that she was a Bengal and we paid lower end of what Bengals go for around this area. I think she is lovely and no matter what but I am unsure of what to tell people when they ask what breed she is

it's not a bengal but of course it has much bengal blood in his veins....
looks awesome and it's something unique...... i'm sure u're gonna love ur "socked" bengal!

Unfortunately Nahla is not a bengal but she looks very much like one (markings) and as you are aware bengals do not have white paws + no paperwork means she was more than likely cross
she is beautiful anyway

Not a full Bengal but definitely has Bengal in her.

I would be really annoyed at the Breeder for claiming that she was. Unfortunately it's very easy to be taken in particularly if you don't do your research beforehand and buy from a reputable breeder.

She is gorgeous though!

It's not unheard or for breeders (even reputable breeders) to have "accidental" litters. As in their queen escapes and mates with another unknown cat. Your kitty is without a doubt part bengal, if not mostly bengal. Looks to me like she is from an intentional breeding between a bengal mix and a bengal. She has very lovely markings and she is a stunning little lady! I would steer clear of BYBers now that you know better :)

Thank you all we do love her I am hoping that she shows the Bengal personality as this is why I was interested in the breed in the first place. She shows a lot of the physical characteristics but she is still adjusting to a new home with two dogs and our toddler so her personality has not shown through yet

She has beautiful rosettes and looks to be part Bengal. I bet she will have some Bengal personality qualities as well. Enjoy your new baby.

Definitely she has bengal in her! Unfortunately, she's not purebred due to the white markings. I'd tell people she's a "bengal cross." However, being part bengal doesn't make the cat worth any more than a moggie. She is gorgeous, regardless. Congratulations.
