I am wondering if it is necessary to remove the kittens from their mother around ages 7 weeks to 8 weeks? Some breeders told me this is what they do because their mothers milk has gone bad and it's not good for them anymore? Lie? Truth?
I am confused because I thought they still need mother bonding time until at least 12 weeks?

I would love opinions on this please!

Momma cats are so much more than nursemaids. They are crucial in the social development of the kitten. A cat's milk won't go "bad". She will simply decrease the frequency with which she lets the kitten nurse. Eventually she will dry up.

Kittens, if they are staying with the breeder an appropriate 12-14 weeks, should stay with the entire family unit - mom included.

Kittens need to remain with their mother. The kittens should be weaned long before they leave the breeder, but the mother is key to socializing the kitten. I think Mother Nature allows a clean separation when the time is right. The kitten should be at least 12 weeks old before they are taken away from the mother.

Definite lies! Kittens learn so much from their mom in the last few weeks ago! Essential socialisation time! Also helps the Mom and kitten to not pine for eachother when separated. At an earlier age the Mom will look for them and get stressed/upset. I find, after 12 weeks Mom cat is a little fed up of them and doesn't miss them so much.

I think now I know why some of the Bengal kittens were seperated around 7 to 8 weeks old. The queen, is due to give birth yet again in a month.

If it's true that the queen was due to give birth again so quickly, this is a BAD breeder!!! Should you decide to ever get another bengal, stay away from this breeder. A good breeder limits the number of litters per queen per year. No cat should continuously bear kittens. My heart goes out to this particular female kitty. The kittens being taken away so young will result in behavior problems in the future.

this is not true , the kittens definitely need to stay with mummy as they learn so much from her
she will also teach them to wean and the frequency of feeding will be less , the milk will only go sour if she has another call

Figures...could explain the food aggressiveness and play time growling aggressiveness which is long gone by now. I guess cause he gets lots of raw food and lots of playtime. He is pretty chill now. Although he only let's me pet him once or twice then his back will lower so I stop. I assume he still needs to warm up since he has only been with me for about 3 weeks.

Remain patient and work slowly with your kitty. This is just a sad situation, but now you have the opportunity to help this little one out.
