I've gone through about 3 or 4 dabird wands before I wised up. The problem is that they are very long (which is great) but very thin and rigid, so they break pretty easily, leaving you with half-a-wand, which is then too short to use comfortably. The flying frenzy wand is equally long but made out of flexible material so almost indestructible. What I regret is not getting 2 or 3 of them when I ordered. You didn't ask, but Neko flies are the other type of wand toy that cats go crazy for, but their wands just suck as well. They are thick and indestructible, but very short, which again make it difficult to move the flies about. So my advice is... get 2 or 3 flying frenzy wands. Not because they'll break, but because it will save you from having to constantly load and unload them with various flying objects

I have been looking at neko flies aswell but like you said they have tiny little wands which make it hard to use. I have already decided on the flying frenzy but i just wanted to know people's views on the 2.

They are very similar but I think the original idea was to have something in the UK market with certain differences to make for better play. The Da Bird at one point was hard to source in the UK...so now the Frenzy is the UK version, the Da Bird is USA Version.

I actually really love the Dragonfly teaser as its smaller and they love it just as much (if not more)

My cats bite the string in two. I keep knotting it back together and they bite it in half again.

I think my Neko fly has a nice long wand. It's not as long as Da Bird. My Da Bird wand is one piece and Raiden prefers to chase the wand and not the bird. Same for the dragonfly. Raiden is perfectly happy chasing a long dowel around the room. I have a strange cat!!! He's not into prey much.
