This is one of the little fellas that used to frequent my garden until about a year ago. Unfortunately the neighbour who owns the woods at the back, chopped down the pine trees that they lived in and I think they've moved on now. They were fantastic to watch.

What a cutie!

Isn't there some law about protecting the environment that red squirrels live in as they're so rare?

I would like mine not to hunt...
You must know I've got chipmunks... well 5 weeks ago or so, they managed to break into the room, break into the cage and chase them... none killed but one of them has only half of his tail now...

Well now I'm veeeery careful (I close the door properly so it's firmly shut and changed the cage door's lock) but still, if they'd drop the idea of eating chipmunk, that would be so nice...
