pretty much as you said, they would want to make sure your decision to home a bengal is the right one, that your circumstances are suitable & that you & their bengal are right for each other.

you can try bengal welfare for older ones that are looking for their forever homes, or scout round a few breeders websites, often you'll find retired breeders.

I forgot it is usa based as well i am from England Norfolk .Another question never having owned an indoor cat before what is the best litter to buy and how long does it last on average.

It's quite an international group of people here. Though the majority of active members are from the UK.
As for litter, it really depends on what you/your cat's preference is. At the top of this page is a search function, your best bet is to use that to find all of the many previous discussions.
