Just wondering...This christmas will be our first christmas with Bailey. How do you have a christmas tree without your cat tearing it down? I can only imagine trying to hang ornaments on it and finding them broken all over the house...

you either sacrifice the tree, put it in a room they can't get to, or get used to keep picking it & all the decorations back up off the floor!

Oh my gosh. I been sooooo worried about this also. I think I am going to see how Olly takes to it. He might get stuck in my room until the tree comes down if he goes all wild with it. Knowing Olly he will bring the tree down..

haha...I figured that much...This is our first christmas away from my parents house, so i will have to start my own ornament collection. I probably should look for ones that cannot break or hurt him! It should be interesting....My other cat back home never bothered the tree, but I know Bailey's personality...He will not be a ble to resist! We are also thinking of getting a fake tree this year.

We're just not going to bother. Why torture ourselves!

i must say i haven't had a lot of trouble with decorations breaking...they just end up less & less each day as they get stolen during the night & batted under cabinets!!

That why Bengals love Christmas so much because all their slaves are silly enough to put up Christmas trees

We tried it the first year with Teegan haa haa what a waste of time it spent more time on the floor.
