Mikesch sloshes water out of the bowl, jumps up to the sink, joins me in the shower, watches the washing machine drain, helps me when I water the plants or do the dishes, and just a moment ago he drowned one of his toy mice in the water bowl. On some occasions, I had him jumping into my lap just to find out that his belly was soaking wet.

This is all so new to me. I've never owned a Bengal and she has a HUGE personality. She is into everything ALL the time, but she's such a lover its hard to be mad at her I think I'll have to think up some sort of plastic bowl or something under her normal bowl to catch all that water. I am anxious to see if she'll get in the shower. She's never come around when I've been in there. So funny!

Mine is so-so about water. More on the negative side.

We've given her 3 baths so far, and she tolerates it, but does not enjoy it. But definitely does not give the "typical" cat reaction. She'll verbally complained, but won't try to scratch or run away.

She won't go near the sinks or the shower when I am in there. We got her one of those Drinkwell fountains, and at first she was scared of it, but now she'll drink from the flowing part, but doesn't play in it.

Chaos doesn't

*very frustrated*

But last he's becoming more interested in it so... keep hoping . Now he comes to see what I'm doing when I'm washing the dishes, and as he doesn't jump by himself on the counter (on account of his ataxia) he will paw at my leg, stretching, and I'll pick him and put him on the counter .
Usually Onyx is already there watching me : yes my moggie likes water more than my Bengal (he comes when I'm in the bath and will carefully put a paw in the water then shake it, soaking my book (yes I read in the bath )).

when i first got baby he was terrified of water... just a sink full of water and he FREAKED. i've been trying to get him used to water ever since, and it's been working so well. he seems to like to make sure hes in the washroom everytime i'm in there. he likes to peek in sometimes if i'm in the shower, but if i'm in the bath he'll stand on the ledge and watch, and sometimes try to drink the water lol. once the water has been drained out but it's still wet in there he'll hop in and play.
he has a drinkwell and he hasn't played with it. he is so curious about the toilet though, i have to make sure it's always closed. gross!!!
