Hi there....good morning or in my case good night! (nightshifts)
I know exactly how you feel....in this case its not so bad for the welfare, but more to do with the bad example that they're setting for the breed and breeders alike!
I have no doubt that the stud in question will be loved, cared for and fed well.....its just not the right way to go about things!
What the hell will members of the public reading that advert think....without sounding cheesey - Breeders are technically guardians of the breed and this advert just gives the wrong impression of why we do this....sure some are in it purely for the money aspect but others very easily get tarred with the same brush.
I mean how much publicity for the
bengal breed has this breeder actually done, have they been a part of a club or network of breeders.....some never show at all which I find absolutely amazing!
Showing carries the greatest publicity for the breed....it's not just about creating and selling kittens, surely it's more about educating people about the breed you adore!
Enough of my rantings tonight...I've not been on for a while but when I saw the last few posts on here I had to say something.
Anyways its way past this little monkey's bedtime.
