who has had some bengal kittens whom came to you really good- didn't pee outside the box, didn't do anything really bad?
Just curious, since only those whom have problems post their problems, seems like there are none of you out there :D:D

Ooh me! No accidents litter-wise from either kitten. They were a little fussy with their food (they will always eat Whiskas, but I wanted to give them something better. No good quality canned food for kittens near me, and they don't really like raw meat. They do like cooked chicken though, when I get around to making it).

That said, they were pretty scared for the first few days. They did have a long day of travelling (about 6 hours door to door) plus just getting used to my place etc. You should probably expect this with your kitten. Remind me, are you only getting one? Make sure you keep it in a small room for the first several days (ours were in the laundry) - it will be easier for it to remember where the tray is, and will help it feel more secure. It will probably miss it's parents and siblings, so have a warm hot water bottle under a blanket for it, and a small ticking clock (sounds like mum's heart beat). My breeder sent me an old towel that the kittens had slept on, so it smelled 'like home' to them. We kept the carry-case in the laundry so they could go back in there if they wanted, and had a couple of other beds they could choose from if they wanted. Don't use a covered tray straight away if your breeder didn't - we transitioned over a couple of days (just the base, then base and roof but no door, now they use the base with roof and door).

Have the same brand of food and litter your breeder uses available, and plenty of fresh water and a few toys around. The toys were what got our kittens to come out from their hiding place and start interacting with us. Their favourites are the ones on rods, but make sure it's really thick string because they'll bite through it instantly if you're not careful!

Hobbit - how long before you get your kitten?

Mine came to me really tiny.He's never really done anything bad and never really had any accidents. He was super hyper active, wanted lots of attention, and always bullied the other cats even though they were much bigger. I do go on long trips sometimes and he'll get into things but not anything to write about. He is very loyal and is such a lap cat.
