I've been reading these forums for a while, and thought I'd introduce our two bengals now they have joined us in our home (both cats are rehomed)
Sarny is a 3 year old retired stud, has won many awards in shows and is the most confident cat I have ever seen.
Dreamer is our 1 year old retired queen (she didn't want to be a mother), who, so far, is the total opposite of sarny. She seems a bit timid but I think it is because she needs a bit longer to settle in.
I've always understood bengals to be quite hyperactive at times (and I know its early days) but ours seem more active late evening/early morning and tend to sleep during the day. I can sleep through their playful behaviour no problems (apparently Sarny was trying to get me to play last night by nudging my face but I just slept lol), however my partner can't. She does enjoy watching them but how long she can keep up with cats calling and playing during the night I don't know lol.
The main question is, are bengals in general, more active during the night than the day, or are they just settling in?
Thanks
