I've attached an email that was posted to the Bengal_Cat yahoo group, I've seen it floating around before although I don't think I've seen it on these forums (apologies if it is already here). I'm not sure if votes from outside of the USA count but I've voted just in case they do!

HI EVERYBODY.

I AM ASKING YOUR HELP WITH A PETITION set up to fight the recent New
York STATE law banning BENGALS, SAVANNAHS, AND CHAUSIES.
AS OF JANUARY 1 IT WILL BE ILLEGAL TO OWN ONE OF THESE CATS.

Madness Maybe necessary for an ALC, but I guess they are already covered by those sort of laws anyway....
