Hi everyone,
just booked my two bengal boys in for their neutering next month when they will be six months and i am very scared as they're my babies! Any advice on after care and general support would be very much appreciated.

My baby just looked after himself. Didnt worry him in the slightest. They will be fine x

Don't worry Jenbo. My boys were neutered in July- they were 5 1/2 months at the time. They are both fine and I didn't have to do anything extra special for them....they ran around like crazies the second I got them home

The vet told me Mikesch wasn't supposed to jump and he also wasn't supposed to eat yet until about 2 hours after I brought him home. Of course he jumped all over the place, especially on the kitchen counter looking for food and going crazy with hunger. He slept a little more that evening, but otherwise you really didn't notice that he had surgery that day. You might want to watch for redness and swelling for a couple of days which can happen if they lick too much. But most likely they'll be just fine.

When I brought my two home from the neutering last week, I was freaking out because I thought they would be in so much pain. When they got home, they were crazier then when they had left. No sleeping, no resting, just pure bengal craziness. No worries....They will be okay...unless you get the declawed, then they will probably need that extra attention

Yes! Unless you like agression and potent cat wee. They will be fine with the op - vets do it all the time.
